Single, Double & Triple Wall Corrugated Boxes: Which One to Choose?
A corrugated box is made of three layers: an outer liner, a wavy middle layer (called the flute), and an inner liner.
In order to pick the right type of box you need to develop an understanding of what it means by single, double and triple wall construction.
As a rule of thumb, if we keep increasing the number of flutes (wavy middle layer) we transition from single, double and eventually to triple wall construction.
